Welcome to Les Valls d'Aguilar

Argestues • Taús • La Guàrdia d'Ares

We come from a farming family, and have always lived and worked in these mountains.

We were born in Borda del Feu in La Guàrdia d’Ares, the house of our paternal grandparents, at 1,600 meters above sea level. Cal Pastisser in Taús is our mother’s house.

The small village of Argestues was left uninhabited in the 60s and was in ruins for forty years. We rebuilt the original houses to live in, raise children in, and offer you five quality rural accommodations in the middle of nature.

We open the doors of our family heritage to you with the desire to contribute to your happiness!

Local products

A few minutes’ walk from the houses of Cal Sodhi d’Argestues, there is the sheep and goat farm of our neighbors of German and Austrian origin. They take care of the land and the animals in a very respectful way and cultivate the most beautiful biodynamic gardens, mixing the vegetables that feed the body with the flowers that nourish the soul. In its local produce shop you can find lamb and goat meat, various types of goat cheese, seasonal vegetables, delicious German cakes, home-made bread, jams, tinctures, creams and ointments… All of the highest quality and done very carefully. They also often organize tours of the farm and orchards. You can contact them for more information and to place orders.
